Skyguide ensures on behalf of the Swiss Federation that air traffic is handled safely, efficiently and cost effectively. Its mandate encompasses the civil and military aviation air traffic control, flight information service, aviation si­gnal-service and the technical service for the installation, oper­ation and maintenance of air traffic control sys­tems.  Skyguide is a non-profit limited liability company that is financed from the fees that the users pay to their pro­viders. Skyguide currently employs 1400 staff.
